Known for his joyful energy, healing touch and sense of humor, Pete creates a spiritual yet light-hearted environment for students to connect truthfully to both the light and darkness within their physical and emotional bodies. Pete’s ability to compassionately guide students through a vigorous asana practice with a raw, honest, and heart-centered approach is why he is considered one of the Bay Area’s most dynamic yoga instructors.
In addition to his daily classes, workshops and retreats, Pete leads his own teacher training program (Lighting the Path), and is also on staff as one of Yoga Tree’s Teacher Trainers. He has taught at several Yoga Festivals and Conferences around the world, including the Yoga Journal Conference, Asia Yoga Conference, Wanderlust, Tadasana Festival, and Bhaktifest.
Pete lives in Berkeley with his talented and beautiful wife Stephanie, and a couple of other crazy characters (his cat Warlock, dog Zoey, and neighborhood raccoon Mr Fiddlesticks).
